So I've gotten oodles of bad press for my last post, especially from the male sex. Most have said that no guy like that exists so I need to lower my expectations. I was more or less meaning it to be a joke, but I have found that most people are taking it seriously. My dear mama fears I may scare off a guy who may be remotely interested in me. So I am here to save my reputation and proclaim that I take back what I previously stated about my TP. I am really not that picky, I promise!! All I'm asking for is a nice Christian guy. That's it.
Thanks and gig 'em! :)

EJ, I think you are dead on in your last post. No apologies necessary. I tell everyone that there are about a dozen guys in the world worth having and at least 10 of us are already married.
It's just a very shallow pool. Guys, on average, are bums and there's not much variance. The fact that you're still single is (a) amazing and (b) testament to the fact that you actually have good taste.
Hang in there ... :) ... mw
Thank you, Mike. Well said. Girl DO NOT lower your expectations. You deserve the BEST. You're God's little girl and that man you meet in the future (probably completely unexpected) better be within inches of your greatness. I listened to a speaker, Tommy Nelson, who said when you find the right guy, he's going to be chasing after the Lord. When he looks over and sees you running at the same incredible pace, that's how you know your future partner.
Take my advice: STOP LOOKING. It sounds crazy, but that's what I did...I stopped "needing" a guy and completely focused on pursuing Christ. Then came Joey. Out of nowhere and so far, he's been everything my "stupid list" required and MORE. But it's because we are pursuing Christ before each other. With that goal in mind, the rest has come pretty easy. I'm done preaching, sorry...just my "guy" testimony. Hug yourself for me!
There's nothing wrong with having high standards. However, you might not want to broadcast those high standards for all interested suitors to be intimated by.
I do think you should have included accoutants in your list of acceptable professions -- you did mention doing his own taxes afterall.
